Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Brisesim (the "Service"), an eSIM price-comparison service operated by Travelic (the "Company"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose

These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users regarding use of the Service.

2. Definitions

  • "Service" means the eSIM plan comparison and information service provided by the Company.
  • "User" means anyone who accesses the Service and uses it under these Terms.
  • "Provider" means a third-party eSIM seller whose plans and prices are compared on the Service.

3. Nature of the Service (Intermediary)

The Service is a comparison and information platform. The Company is a telecommunication sales intermediary (通信販売仲介者) and is NOT a party to any transaction between a User and a Provider.

Purchase, payment, delivery/activation, refunds, and customer support for any plan are provided solely by the relevant Provider. Obligations and responsibility for the products, product information, and transactions rest with the Provider.

Prices and plan details shown are supplied by Providers and may change or contain errors. The Company presents them for reference and does not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Please confirm the final terms on the Provider’s own page before purchasing.

4. Accounts

Some features (such as writing reviews) require an account. You may sign up with an email address or a supported social login (Google, Kakao).

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 14, and children under 14 may not sign up. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 14 without the consent of a legal guardian, we will delete it without delay.

5. User Obligations

  • Do not post false information, infringe others’ rights, or violate any law.
  • Do not interfere with the operation of the Service or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Reviews must reflect genuine, first-hand experience.

6. Reviews and User Content

You retain rights to the reviews you write, and you are solely responsible for them. By posting, you grant the Company a non-exclusive right to display, store, and distribute that content within the Service.

The Company may hide or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law (moderation). Reviews are the opinions of individual users and do not represent the Company.

7. Affiliate Links and Neutrality

When you move to a Provider from the Service, the Company may earn an affiliate commission. This never affects the price you pay, nor the ranking or ordering of results, which follow neutral criteria (e.g., lowest price or A–Z).

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content (excluding user content and Provider-supplied data) are owned by or licensed to the Company and may not be used without permission.

9. Disclaimer

Except in cases of the Company’s intent or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for transactions with, or products or services of, any Provider, nor for the content of external sites reached through links. The Service is provided "as is," and the Company does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

As a telecommunication sales intermediary, the Company bears the responsibilities imposed on intermediaries by the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, including liability arising from failure to provide Provider identity information or the required notice. Nothing in this section excludes such statutory liability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, except where such damages result from the Company’s intent or gross negligence. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability under consumer protection laws).

11. Changes to the Terms

The Company may amend these Terms and will announce changes on the Service at least 7 days before they take effect (at least 30 days in advance, with individual notice where feasible, for changes unfavorable to users). If you do not agree to an amendment, you may stop using the Service and close your account before the effective date; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are subject to the court having jurisdiction under applicable law. The Korean version of these Terms prevails in case of any conflict with a translation.
